Thomas F. Clemente, DPM
Dr. Thomas Clemente has been practicing Podiatric Medicine and Surgery since 1981. He received his undergraduate Bachelors of Science degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He attended and received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree (D.P.M.) from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco. His surgical residency was completed in Van Nuys, CA., where he had the good fortune to train with Dale W. Austin, MD, DPM, renowned for his contributions in the advancement of foot reconstructive surgical techniques. Among these, the "Austin Bunionectomy", which today is probably the most common bunion correction procedure performed. Following Dr. Clemente's residency, he joined the practice of Dr. Austin in Van Nuys, CA. and worked side by side with him for the next several years, until Dr. Austins' untimely passing. Dr. Clemente has continues to carry on the tradition of "excellence in foot care" established by his mentor, Dr. Austin, in the San Fernando Valley

and in the late 1980's expanded his services to Santa Clarita, where he and his family currently reside.

Qualifications:

Dr. Clemente is board certified in foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is a member in good standing of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the California Podiatric Medical Association and the Los Angeles County Podiatric Medical Association.

Dr. Clemente is proficient in all aspects of foot and ankle reconstructive surgery. He also has a sub-specialty in treating chronic non-healing wounds. he and his Associate, Dr. John Halebian were staff Podiatrists at one of the first Wound Care Centers in the San Fernando Valley from 1993 until its closure in 2002. Dr. Clemente continues to provide wound care services in both office locations. In addition the office-based wound care, Dr. Halebian is a staff member at the Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital Wound Center. In sum, Dr. Clemente has strived to provide the highest quality foot care, to all of his patients. He has continued to share his knowledge and skills over the last two decades with the surgical residents he has trained, in order to "give back" to the profession, which he has held in such high regard.

Loris Yadegarian, DPM

Dr. Yadegarian was born in Isfahan, Iran.  After moving to the Unites States at the age of eight, he lived in Palos Verdes Estates, CA.  He then moved to Burbank, CA and eventually graduated from Burbank High School with Academic Honors in 1989.  He then graduated from the University of Southern California (Los Angeles, CA) with a BS in Chemistry, Cum Laude in 1993. Before attending medical school, he took EMT training at the University of California at Los Angeles, and worked for three years as an EMT, and at Southern California Cardiovascular Consultants as a health aide.

Dr. Yadegarian attended the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine (Philadelphia, PA) and graduated in 2000 with high honors. He was named to Pi Delta National Honor Society and Who's Who among College Students in America. During medical school, he also researched and

co-authored a publication titled “First Metatarsophalangeal Joint Implants: A Survey of Designs.”  He then completed his Podiatric Surgical Residency training in Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery at Northridge Hospital Medical Center  (Van Nuys/Northridge, CA) in 2002.  During his stay at Northridge Hospital Medical Center, he was also trained in Advanced Podiatric Wound Care Management at the Center for Wound Care.

Dr. Yadegarian joined Allcare Foothealth Center (Palmdale, CA) in 2002. During this time, he was also involved with a multi-specialty clinic at Heritage Health Care (Palmdale, CA).  After three years, he then joined Santa Clarita Valley Podiatry Associates (Valencia/Van Nuys, CA) in 2005.  His primary office is on the campus of Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital (Valencia, CA), but he is also on staff at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center (Mission Hills, CA) and San Fernando Valley Surgery Center (Mission Hills, CA).
Dr. Yadegarian’s interests include hiking, mountain biking, camping, and all sports (especially hockey and soccer).  He is an avid supporter of USC Football and travels extensively to support his Trojans.  He has traveled extensively throughout the world and is a history buff.  Some of his passions include the arts and architecture.  His is also an avid wine taster and a cigar aficianado.

Dr. Yadegarian is very excited to be a part of the Santa Clarita Valley community and to practice with Santa Clarita Valley Podiatry Associates.  He has spoken on podiatry and diabetes, and would consider speaking engagements to interested groups within the community.  His future plans include volunteering his time as a team podiatrist for local school sports.  In addition, he would like to partake as the podiatrist for medical mission trips to third world countries.
John D. Halebian, DPM, CWS
Dr Halebian is board certified by the American Academy of Wound Management.  He has 25 years of experience treating and healing chronic wounds of the feet and ankles.  He has extensive education and training in the specialty of woundcare.   He uses recognized contemporary therapies to treat wounds and has prevented numerous previously recommended amputations.  He has healed hundreds of wounds using a common sense hands on compassionate approach. He is committed and devoted to his patients and his specialty.

Dr Halebian is affiliated with the Henry Mayo Hospital Woundcare Center in Valencia, California and has private practices in Valencia and Studio City, California.
